  Came for a PreEmployment physical and the MA asked if I wear contacts so they can check my vision. I said yes. She checked my vision using the typical eye chart with my contacts in and then wanted me to take them out. Which I asked why if I can't see anything without my contacts, I’m not going to be able to read the eye chart, she said oh that's what we do. I've NEVER had to do this and as someone in healthcare myself it didn’t sound right. Then she proceeds to bring me in 2 plastic vomit catchers and 2 plastic bottles with "normal saline" written on them. I had my own bottle of actual contact saline I keep in my bag cause I am not going to trust or use that "normal saline" when I don't know what it is. Already bad I had to put my contacts in the vomit catcher plastic container when I don't know who touched them or if they are clean. So I tried to read the eye chart but it is all blurry hence why I have contacts. She asked me what line can I read. I told her NONE cause I can't see without my contacts. She asked me “you can’t see none?” I said No. Then she asked what colors were on the eye chart which I said again I cannot see without contacts. Everything is blurry! Waste of time. Not to mention who knows if I have an infection in my eyes cause of the unsanitary and ridiculous request to take out my contacts and not use the proper storage for them. She also didn’t even pull down the table paper and when the provider came and she told me to get up on the table, I had to pull it down myself. On the pre employment form saying I passed there was NOTHING about what my eye sight was without my contacts. So she didn’t need to make me do that. She needs retraining not only on her attitude but also what you are supposed to do during a pre employment exam. I would NEVER recommend this place or go back again!!!
