⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Nurses at Ascension St. Vincent’s Truly Changed My Life After suffering a stroke, I spent 8 days at Ascension St. Vincent’s, and I can honestly say that the nurses at Ascension St. Vincent’s are extraordinary. During one of the most frightening experiences of my life, they were the steady, caring presence that helped me get through each day and night. From the moment I arrived at Ascension St. Vincent’s, the nurses treated me with compassion, patience, and respect. They never made me feel rushed or ignored. They took the time to explain what was happening, checked on me constantly, and made sure I felt safe and supported — not just medically, but emotionally too. When fear or uncertainty set in, their kindness made all the difference. While the doctors at Ascension St. Vincent’s ran extensive tests to determine the cause of my stroke and ensured I left with the correct medications and a clear recovery plan, it was the nurses who carried me through the hardest moments. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care are something I will never forget. The hospital itself was clean, modern, and well maintained, and my room at Ascension St. Vincent’s was spacious enough for my family to visit and support me during a long stay. But what truly defines this hospital is its nursing staff. I am deeply grateful to every nurse at Ascension St. Vincent’s who helped me during my recovery. You don’t just work here — you save lives and change them. Thank you for all you attention, all your care and a special gratitude to Jessica the night Nurse for her respectful kind nature whom is extremely thoughtful helpful and a get it fast done kinda person.

Ended up needing to go to the ER early Monday morning. Checked in quickly and was brought to a room within minutes. The front staff at the ER was great, helpful and pleasant and very professional. The nurses and doctors who saw me were all equally wonderful. Within 20 min I had an IV of fluids and meds and was brought for a CT. The doctor was in with the results very quickly, and he explained everything to me in a way that I understood exactly what was going on. I was admitted to the hospital upstairs and for the next day, they took fantastic care of me. The nurses are so attentive and knowledgeable. Also the food was really good, Which was surprising. If I had to choose an ER or hospital to go to, I would most definitely make this my first choice. The nurses and doctors are top notch.

I recently had an ultrasound at Ascension St. Vincent's St. Johns County, and my experience was excellent. The ultrasound nurse was professional, kind, and very courteous. She made me feel completely comfortable and took the time to explain each step of the process, which truly put me at ease. Her calm and compassionate approach turned what could have been a stressful visit into a very reassuring one. I’m grateful for the high level of care I received and would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of imaging services. Thank you for such outstanding patient care.

The staff at the main admission was kind caring. Offered to help us in any way she could. Presurgery staff were very good as they smiled and tried to keep me calm. As a nurse myself. I understand how the staff made me laugh and get my iv in, and I am a very very hard stick. I appreciate the ICU staff for the excellent care I received. I believe your hospital has been the best people, . I appreciated the small things you do as one unit. No matter your issues some one would give me a heated blanket, the small things really count. In closing I would say your hospital is by far the the best hospital . I appreciate all of you.
