Ascension St. Vincent's Primary Care - Westside

It's always a joy to see Dr Caldwell, and staff. Everyone is well mannered, professional, courteous,and genuine. I know I have a great Dr, and all the staff members are awesome. They always smiling, and ask about you, the person, what's been going on, concerning your health and overall life. Very thorough, and always have a great time, and I treat them as family. They didn't ask me to say anything, but everyone, including Dr Caldwell, needs, deserves, and overworked RAISE, immediately. They do the work, daily, before I leave, I feel much better,than when I came through the doors. God bless you all, Westside clinic, if I had it, I would pay you for what is due.

I always love my experience at Ascension St. Vincent Westside with Dr. Caldwell. Dr. Caldwell is very professional, caring, passionate, patient, attentive and makes you feel valued. I see various doctors and specialist which in today's world it's hard to find such care like this, so I truly appreciate Dr. Caldwell.

I was 12 minutes late to my appointment with Ashley Welsh due to unexpected traffic from a car accident for an urgent concern of mine and she refused to see me. I understand that I was late but I called to let the office know I was still on my way, and have sat in their waiting room over half an hour or more at times waiting to be seen in the past. The receptionist informed me that their policy is over 15 minutes late you lose your appointment but she asked the provider directly since I was within that window but she refused to honor their own policy and see me. I left in tears carrying my toddler with me and was shocked by the lack of compassionate care from the team here for a mother with an urgent health concern. I’ve been a patient for almost 5 years but will be requesting my records and will never return after my experience today. What’s even worse is that this ARNP made it clear to the receptionist and through her to me that the reason she wouldn’t see me is that she was taking her lunch break. I implore this ARNP to reevaluate her priorities and the reason she went to nursing school and then pursued her masters afterwards. I think if you’re able to turn away a scared, crying mother who is facing a scary health concern rather than delay your lunch break for 12 minutes you’ve reached a point of burn out that is no longer compatible with community healthcare. Someone who could do that is not in line with what I look for in a healthcare provider and should be in administration rather than a direct patient care role. Hopefully she enjoyed her lunch break while I was in a complete panic attack navigating myself and my toddler to an urgent care center where I was treated with dignity and respect as every patient deserves.

I've always had excellent service from Dr Caldwell at St Vincent's Clinic I feel very comfortable with her capability she is very experienced and easy talk to.
