Dr. Ahmed MD Farid at urgent care st Vincent’s mandarin was the rudest doctor I’ve have ever been to. I went in for chest pain and he said I came in for a “cough”. He pressed a stethoscope to my chest for less than a 2 seconds, never told me to breathe deeply and was out the door. I have been sick for over a week and already diagnosed with strep, and now was experiencing chest pain so I went in for a chest x ray. Ahmed Farid was Extremely unhelpful, no bedside manner and was in and out with a few minutes. Almost as like he’s a doctor that is afraid of sick people. You could tell he did not want to been near me, He didn’t feel for lymph nodes or complete any type of exam. After he came back he rushed through saying I only had a virus, told me to feel better and left. He refused to explain why he prescribed the 4 medications that he did. He was in and out in less then 2 minutes, said I had a virus gave me a paper and told me to leave. Before I left I asked if he could explain why he prescribed what he did in better detail, he told me “no, that he already told me once and would not be coming to talk to me again”. He then gave me a detailed review of my chest x ray that was cut off on the left side, so that it read I had a mass or legion. I Had to go back to imaging desk to have them print out a readable copy which explained that I did not have a mass, thank goodness. The imaging tech and front desk associates spend more time with his patients and cares about them more then he does. Ahmed Farid should choose another occupation he comes off as misogynistic and uncaring, beware. The associate at the front explained he’s normally at the hospital so he’s always really quick with his patients. Unacceptable and by the time I left 2 hours later, there was no one else there. He had no other patients by the time I left, but still refused to talk to me more in detail. I will never be going back. Go to Baptist or CareSpot if you need a Dr on the weekend. He is very unprofessional and unhelpful
2.5 - 3 stars. I can’t recommend this place unfortunately. I can’t even get customer support. They said they would text back. No text received. Then I try to call before the closed. They closed early and the recording says closed for an hour. In an hour it will be 7 pm the time they are supposed to close. This is only from today. There have been other issues.
Ascension should do a secret shopper and have someone undercover from management sit in the waiting room. The front desk staff are extremely unprofessional. I sat for 20 minutes and clearly heard them (urgent care folks) complaining about management, patients and many other topics. In the workplace it's totally understandable to be annoyed but the "water cooler" talk is for the break room or after work. In a medical office it's very disturbing when the first line is so openly unprofessional.
These ladies litterally sit up and talk trash there are 4 receptionist and they are saying it’s only one person in the back nothing about that makes sense this location is just disrespectful period ill never come back here!
This experience has been annoying and horrible ive been waiting over an hour to be seen to take a drug test which means i had to listen to the receptionist which to my surpise openly used bad language several times without a second guess i mean using profane language speaking on ppl who come in thhis is the office
