Ascension St. Vincent's Emergency Care - Southside

My recent visit to Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside was one of the best healthcare experiences I have had in a long time. I went in on Saturday to follow up on some ongoing health concerns, and from the moment I checked in until the time I was discharged, the entire process was efficient, professional, and reassuring. What stood out most was that the care never felt rushed or transactional. Every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in my overall well-being, taking a holistic approach rather than simply treating symptoms. I was pleasantly surprised that they exceeded the estimated wait time I was given at check-in. In today’s healthcare environment, that level of efficiency is rare and greatly appreciated. The nursing staff and Dr. Cline were exceptional. Their bedside manner was warm, respectful, and compassionate. They took the time to listen, answer questions, and work collaboratively with me to identify and address any concerns. It was clear that communication and patient care were priorities, and the entire team worked seamlessly together. Most surveys ask patients to rate their experience on a scale of one to five stars. While I gladly give Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside five stars in every category, the truth is that my experience went beyond what a rating scale can adequately measure. Their professionalism, genuine concern, efficiency, and commitment to quality care made a lasting impression. Thank you to Dr. Cline, the nursing staff, and everyone involved in my care. Your dedication to serving patients with excellence does not go unnoticed.

They were more than great caring professional medical service.. i was very sick on going problem thinking I could wait it out. Greeted at the door helping me get to restroom. The nurse was heaven sent. No pain getting my blood .Never that easy and gentle before.. All the procedures 5 i think. The doctor was very helpful and listened .wish I could use him as my primary. . Not one complaint . The care and time was far better than I expected. . Great experience. Hope I never get this sick again.. But if I did I would not wait but run to be treated as a valued patient.

Hurt my back in the gym and had bad pain. Wanted to make sure nothing was severely wrong and get some support. The staff was beyond kind, supportive, and sweet. They got me in immediately, no line. The doctors and nursing staff helped me right away with supporting my pain, got me a CT scan, and gave me direction on next steps. I was very impressed with how quickly they helped me and the level of care given. You can tell the nurses and staff care about their patients! Super shout out to the night nurse who was so compassionate!

Oh man I never had surgery before and I went and met Dr. Demetrios and his staff and not one person made me feel uncomfortable. As for the hospital itself I love it the staff took good care of me I was nervous and they made me comfortable. Man I had been with pain for years and I wasn’t able to get surgery because I didn’t have the money for when I use to go to baptist. I went to St. Vincent and they made it happen they care for the people not only the money and I like that. They saw the issue and took care of it within months. They are amazing thank you so much again.
