I’m so VERY APPRECIATIVE of the wonderful attention and care I received, over the weekend, at St. Vincent’s Emergency Room! I thought we’d have to wait the “horror story of hours” typically associated with going to the ER, but that wasn’t the case. From the moment I approached the pleasant and personable Receptionist, Beth, went through Triage that was a 1,2,3 process, through their brief, streamlined Registration process, through to sharing my symptoms with Mike, an Extremely kind, conscientious and “on his game” P.A., and the X-ray Escort and Technician, I knew I was in good hands! Everyone I came in contact with was genuinely in tune to making me feel I was in the right place for service and I’d be taken care of in a timely manner. And I was! I came away with an experience of knowing where my whole family can now call their “Home Hospital”-St. Vincent’s in Middleburg! One, for the Excellent and Expedient care I personally received and Two, because two days after being diagnosed and taking the prescribed medications (Thanks again Mike :0), I’m feeling like myself again and owe it all to the staff on duty during my visit!
The care I received a St Vincents Hospital in Middleburg was top notch. They fixed a cut on my head and sent me for CT scans. No major issues with my head or neck. Checked in about 6pm. Checked out a little after 10pm. The Clay County Rescue unit was very helpful. Without their insistence I might not have gone. Today, very thankful 🙏 that I did. Thank you Clay County Fire Dept. Thank you St Vincents Emergency Department. Amanda L Price
Unfortunately, I recently contracted a food-borne illness (E. coli) and was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent's ER. However, I received the best care I could have ever asked for. My nurse, Jackie Grote., was amazing, attentive, professional, and communicative. She made me feel comfortable despite the amount of pain I was in. The very next day after taking the prescribed medications, I was already feeling much better. Jackie G. even checked up on me the following day to see how I was recovering. If I ever require hospital care again, I will definitely return to St. Vincent's. Thank you for your exceptional care and professionalism.
I was taken in quickly. Put in a room. Spoken to immediately and then xray came by. I was diagnosed, treated, prescribed and released. The next day I received a follow up call. I was well cared for and completely comfortable. My trust and faith in care goes to St. Vincents Ascensions Hospital thank you
First, I would like to extend my kindest regards to PA-C Grady G. Carter. My significant other and I recently had an experience at another doctor’s office that was not as pleasant or welcoming as our visit here at Ascension. We were promptly acknowledged, and the onboarding process was seamless from the moment we walked through the door. Grady provided an outstanding example of what healthcare should be. His approach to delivering information and his initiative in thoroughly assessing health concerns truly stood out. He gave my stepdaughter a positive experience that helped her become a little more comfortable in a hospital setting. I am sincerely grateful to see that there are still dedicated and compassionate professionals in healthcare. I understand the importance of quality care, as I work in the primary care field, which requires careful attention to detail for every patient. I hope that someone in leadership who reads this can acknowledge his efforts and pass along my sincere thanks.
