  It all started with a severe toothache. My general dentist initially diagnosed it as tooth #18 needing a root canal and referred me to an endodontist across the street. Unfortunately, they couldn't see me for over a week. The pain became unbearable, and by Thursday evening I honestly didn't think I would make it through the weekend. On Friday morning, after frantically calling nearly every dental office I could find—including one that was an hour away in Jax—I made one last call around 8:30 a.m. Asbury Dental & Implants Center told me they had an opening at 9:30 a.m. It truly felt like a Godsend, especially since they were only about five miles away. After taking X-rays, Dr. Nasar explained that my previous diagnosis was actually incorrect. The problem wasn't tooth #18—it was tooth #19. I'll admit I was skeptical at first, but Dr. Nasar took the time to show me the X-rays, explain everything in simple terms, and answer all of my questions. His confidence, patience, and willingness to educate me immediately put me at ease. The root canal procedure went smoothly—even if I wasn't the easiest patient. I'll admit, I don't do well with needles, but Dr. Nasar and his team were incredibly patient, reassuring, and helped keep me calm throughout the entire procedure. By the very next day, the pain had already started to subside, and within few days it was completely gone. When it was time for my crown, that experience was just as impressive. The crown fit perfectly the first time. I've had crowns before that required multiple adjustments and return visits, so I was pleasantly surprised that everything fit so precisely from the start. From the front desk staff to the hygienists, Jose, and of course Dr. Nasar, everyone was welcoming, compassionate, and professional. They made what had been one of the most stressful and painful experiences I've ever had into one that was comfortable and reassuring. Thank you to the entire team for taking such great care of me. I would highly recommend Asbury Dental & Implants Center to anyone needing dental care. They are truly a top-notch team!
