Arnold Douglas Fong, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Fong’s for over 15 years, and I can honestly say he is one of the most thorough, professional, and genuinely caring doctors I’ve ever encountered. He takes the time to listen, never rushes through appointments, and always makes sure I fully understand any diagnosis or treatment plan. His bedside manner is kind and compassionate, and it’s clear that he truly cares about the well-being of his patients. I’ve never once had a negative experience in all these years. It’s unfortunate to see a single bad review from someone who probably walked in with a bad attitude. Dr. Fong is the kind of doctor you want in your corner—trustworthy, thoughtful, and committed to providing excellent care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Fong is an exceptional physician. He’s incredibly thorough and takes the time to really listen and understand what’s going on before making any diagnosis. His treatment plans are always thoughtful, and he’s very precise when it comes to medications—never just throwing prescriptions at a problem. He’s also extremely professional, calm, and respectful, which makes every visit feel comfortable and reassuring. It’s clear he genuinely cares about his patients and takes pride in providing excellent care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Fong was an incredible source of support during a major medical issue I went through about seven years ago. He took the time to explain everything to me, answered every question with patience, and truly helped ease my anxiety leading up to the procedure. His wife, Vicki, who is an RN at the practice, was just as kind and supportive—they both went out of their way to make sure I felt informed and cared for. That kind of compassion and attention is rare. Dr. Fong is a skilled, thoughtful, and deeply professional physician, and I’m so grateful for the care I received from both of them.

Worst provider I have ever encountered, and so much happier since I switched. I found him to have unprofessional behavior, and felt that my patient rights were violated. Additionally, getting prescriptions filled or re-certified yearly was a nightmare. I now have *no trouble, and am treated with respect in a friendly UF Health office. It would be unfair to only bring up the negative aspects. The positives, are that he is excellent at diagnosing and explaining treatment options. UPDATE: To the reviewer who, just 3 days ago, (who is the 2nd reviewer listed with only initials in a small timeframe/exact same day, which is seriously SUSPICIOUS)— JJ, to say that the reviewer who left a bad review must have “walked in with a bad attitude” when you were not there, you do not know me, and clearly, you are making a sympathy review for this doctor, it is very unwise to make a generalization about a reviewer’s experience just because you did not experience that.
