It’s already odd that there are qualifications for food beyond commodities beyond the exchange in Federal Agricultural Services… I was asked about length of unemployment. Then, in a condescending manner, asked if I was looking.. Lastly, after I provided my Food Assistance information, I could feel the representative’s jawline 180 degree her eyebrows in the, “How Dare She” fog.. First of all, if everyone was Hungry .. Then everyone was Fed … Even, Local Farmers would still have a job .. BC we will know that there were USDA obligations … Still open … Still need to be met. Chances are if they don’t meet the qualifications for Food Assistance … The are a Self-Sustaining Individual .. There is No Employment Sufficient .. There are no Children .. There are no Vulnerable Elders or Disabled Individuals. Concluding, the inquiries turned away may have all included Children.. No matter how kind of the overall spins. I’ve NEVER visited a Pantry that turn away from other than not having more food. Nor have I ever heard one refer to “211”. They knew the name of others surrounding their community..
Please I’m having hard time finding the new location on the phone and it’s been 2 months I couldn’t go because of that if someone can help me get the exact address I would really appreciate it
My experience went no further than the phone call. Apparently, you have to "qualify" to get the food. I don't think I need to give you my personal information to get food. All you need to know is I need food. You will not violate my privacy to give me something you didn't pay for. You get paid to distribute donated food. Being a living woman qualifies me. The lady was rude, thank God I've grown.

In a place that is funded by churches and suppose to help the needy, the woman at the front was not only extremely condescending, she also put a homeless man's business on display in front of two women who were also in need. This woman was so rude and not of christian heart. I may not have been in a zip code that worked for this group but I am definitely in need. I know that the behavior that this women displayed is not a godly manner. To the Arlington Churches that support this service, I would think twice about how you serve the community and represent your heavenly father.
