My kids have been going since June and we recently pulled them out. I was told my son only needed a few more skills, that he was right there, before he was promoted. Well, it’s been 3 months and he wasn’t promoted. At this point, the lack of communication and disconnect isn’t worth the time to continue. The updates before class that it was canceled (emergencies not included) or some sort of safety skill week were also very last minute for a Tuesday class. Changing procedure with not using bracelets and giving us a blank stare because we didn’t know the procedure changed is also quite ridiculous. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because my daughter’s nervousness of the pool has diminished.
My kids have been attending Aqua Fin Swim school Fleming Island for almost 2 years, and the progress they've made is incredible! The instructors are patient, skilled, and create a fun learning environment. My children have not only learned essential water safety skills but have also developed a love for swimming. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is BEYOND friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff. They care so much and I know my children are safe. I highly recommend this swim school to any parent looking to give their child a positive and safe swimming experience!
Great experience! Lil man’s first session. 30 minutes, one other swimmer. Pool was heated and Katie did an excellent job with the kids. Playing games and making them comfortable in the water. Lil man is three and had reservations but by the end he went under water. Staff was friendly, will continue lessons.
Every single instructor my child has had has been absolutely wonderful with her, patient, encouraging and empowering. I love being able to watch her through the window, her confidence and ability in the pool has grown immensely as has her regard for safety in and around the pool! We absolutely love it here!
We brought my 3 year old daughter here in September for the parent and tot classes, although she was a little older than that normal age group. I felt comfortable starting her there given that we were so new. My daughter was able to go from having fun/being silly in the water to now swimming on her own and she’s moved up 2 levels. The staff are really friendly and the system is pretty easy to navigate once you book a session day and time. The class offerings are vast, the cost is affordable, and the payments are withdrawn once a month on the same date. The staff are always willing to answer any questions I may have and they get to know your child throughout your time there. I am very happy with AQUAfin Swim School overall and I would highly recommend that anyone who is wanting their children to know how to swim, enroll them at this facility.
