Came in. It was super busy. Got really fast service and all my questions answered fully. Helped me make an informed decision on switching from PC to Mac. A special thanks to Kamal (I hope I spelled that correctly buddy)
When I walked in for an appraisal/purchase of a new laptop, I was quoted a 40 min wait by the front employee who checks people in. This store is extremely busy, because it’s the only official Apple store in the area and areas around Jacksonville. Luckily I didn’t wait 40 mins, I think I only waited 5 mins. Ms. Linda helped me and was very patient, gentle, and informative. I was in and out within 15 mins. So this review is really for her, and her kind and helpful service. Thanks again!
Staff here is great. We have been here like 10 times in the past two weeks. Bought a few things and returned a few things (returns had nothing to do with this store specifically). This store is setup in a typical apple open concept. Each table has its own thing it sells or accomplishes. Well staffed each visit. We were able to get in and out with in 10 mins each time. (We did come prepared each time because we are tech savvy, you might have to wait if you are performing tech support with staff) No long waits. All in all: 8/8 tablets are great. 5/5 Staff is kind.
Read the reviews before coming so I carved out a chunk of my day but was ultimately surprised and had a great experience Walked in without appointment and had to wait quite a bit but I was seen in order. I feel like I got an expert who really did diagnostics on my phone and had a good understanding of my phone. He was even patient enough to let me ask about another issue I was having unrelated to the issue I raised when I walked in. In the end I couldn’t reproduce the issue but he did his best to help. Unexpectedly he still gave me some things to look out for and advised me on what to do if it happens again. The issue involved my headphones which were out of warranty but he still helped me address the issue and didn’t write me off for asking about out of warranty tech.
I need to give a huge shout-out to the Apple Store in St. John’s town center. I visited because I needed to transfer a phone from one family member to another (following a death in the family.) I didn’t have any of the deceased person’s details for log-in, etc, but that person was on my account. Verizon was of very little help in transferring the phone over to the new owner & suggested I go to the Apple Store. So glad I did! All the Apple Store required was for me to go to a Verizon location (also in town center) and bring them proof that I was the owner of the physical phone and they would remove the Apple ID currently using the phone. While it was a little monotonous & time-consuming - it all worked out. The staff at Apple were so kind, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, informative, and above all else….. PATIENT! I’m most grateful for that…. Because I’m not very good with technology and haven’t be able to explain it in layman’s terms to the new user, as well.
