Doc and crew awesome despite being Sooners fans. Took great care of my boy Hank. Go Vols.
I had such a wonderful experience here! The moment I walked into the lobby, Joelly and KC at the front desk greeted me with the warmest, most welcoming smiles. They made me feel completely comfortable and at ease right away. Dr. Russell was also incredibly nice. It is rare to find an office where everyone from the front desk to the doctor is this kind. Highly recommend!
My husband and I cannot say enough about Dr. Russell and his AMAZING staff! We have been through a lot together and we wouldn’t want to take our doggies anywhere else! Dr. Russell is not just a phenomenal Doctor! He takes the time out to explain things in layman’s terms and has incredible compassion. We would recommend Animal Medical Clinic to anyone with pets! From a simple vaccine to surgery and end of life care. We just love them!
I brought my dog in because he had a traumatic experience. He was acting scared after a thunderstorm and it may have shocked his shock collar. . He moved his legs around and took some blood and when I checked out I was traumatized myself when the bill was $600. There was literally no medical issue. He also overcharged me $30 for CBD supplements. They charged me for urine that was never taken and asked me to do it and I wasn’t going to. I thought since he was private and a clinic it would be different then a conglomerate. But shocker, it was way over the top.
I could not be more pleased with Dr Russell and his clinic. I agreed to watch my daughter's cat while she was living out of state for a while, but when she returned she would not take Peanut back. My husband and I tried scratching posts, "Purdy Paws," everything - but Peanut just continued to destroy all of my furniture. It was a difficult decision to make, but I finally decided I would find a vet who could perform a laser declaw surgery rather than make her an outside cat. Dr. Russell did an outstanding job! Peanut was simply sleepy (no overt pain) when she first returned home and fully recovered during her one week with the sutures and "halo." She now has no signs or symptoms of any pain - she uses her litter pan, uses her paws to "knead," jumps between surfaces, etc. I love animals, but if it gets to the point of having to have a laser declaw (humans undergo surgeries, after all) and forcing your cat to be an outdoor cat, I highly recommend a laser declaw by Dr. Russell. Our cat is just as happy as she was before the surgery, and she would have been miserable outdoors. In my opinion, laser declaw is sometimes the most humane option and if it you decide it is the best option for you and your cat, I encourage you not allow others to shame you.
