No parent ever wants to take their child to the doctor when they’re sick, but this office made the entire experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. From the moment we walked in, Jah greeted us with such positive energy and was incredibly helpful with the check-in process. The staff was efficient, kind, and attentive throughout our visit. Jency, the nurse practitioner, was especially wonderful—compassionate, informative, and thorough. She even helped check us out to make sure we could wrap things up quickly, which I really appreciated. Overall, this is an outstanding doctor’s office with a fantastic team. Highly recommend!
We took our son here for a consultation for adhd / autism. They kept us waiting a long time, they still had Christmas decorations up in February, and the facility was filthy. We completed the consultation that day but we had some reservations about what happened. The girl who was conducting the consultation was rude, condescending, and passive aggressive. When the actual doctor came in to speak with us she was rude a pushy also. What really made us question the motives, and gave us a bad feeling was they wanted to take our son into another room alone to evaluate him. When we asked if they could make an exception and allow us to be present the doctor became even more rude, and told us no. Ultimately we never brought him back for the second half of the evaluation. Now they have sent us a bill for $142, with an extra fee of $25 for “COMMUNICATION DIFFICULTIES DURING THE PS”. There were no communication difficulties my wife and I are both highly educated people. We simply didn’t agree to the other services told them we wanted to think about it as we already had an adhd consult scheduled for later that year and needed to wait until we found out if pursuing with angel kids would void our coverage for the one we had scheduled with Baptist. We ended up getting him in with his regular doctor for a full adhd evaluation and never went back to angel kids. We told them and they accepted we had to think about it. Then we kept getting emails asking us to do the rest of the tests we called and told them we didn’t want to continue with them. We are now getting ridiculous bills for things that did not even take place. They did not evaluate our son at all it was a ton of questions for us and he sat at the table and played. He was frustrated and it was hot and not an inviting facility. In my opinion this practice lacks professionalism and pushes for things that made us uncomfortable. $25 charge for communication difficulties? That sounds to me like a disgruntled medical worker who didn’t get what they wanted from us so they charged more. We were told it was a $50 copay MULTIPLE times and that’s what we paid that is our specialist copay. We shouldn’t owe anything else. My wife has called and left messages no calls being returned but we keep getting billed? I would not recommend this facility to a friend I personally would avoid at all costs.
If there were no stars that’s what it would be because the doctor never showed up and I had to personally request a new one. My appointment was booked over a week in advance for 9:45 am, in the email you are directed to arrive 30 minutes early for check in, and I’m sitting here an hour later and the doctor hasn’t even arrived!!! The unprofessionalism is unreal. They make enough I’m sure they own a phone they can call and provide the client with the option to wait, see another doctor or reschedule. Waste of my day.
If you have any kind of insurance do not go here. There's rarely doctors or pause there's only Arpn interns. If you really love your child don't take them here. If you have any kind of insurance to take your child to any other pediatrician I would suggest you do that rather than go to this particular location. My last visit I had to wait 2 hours long.
They have sent bill after bill for services we did not get. They also put a $25 charge for “communication difficulties “? What kind of scam is that? There were no communication difficulties, I understood perfectly fine as did my husband. I have a 4.0Gpa and we both are college educated if there were communication issues that would be on their end and their inability to listen as even when I told them WE would call them if we wanted to pursue doing an evaluation AFTER we spoke to our insurance we would call. No evaluation took place. Period. I am so glad I had a witness there as the bill is an outright lie. Moreover, I have called MULTIPLE times and someone tells me someone will call me back and they don’t. I am disappointed with this practice and their dishonesty. In my opinion they’re not out to help anyone. It felt like a diagnosis mill. The behavioral office was fairly dim lit, nasty and gross toys with hairs and particulate on them, they took us in a weird empty room, the intake employee was passive aggressive and rude. I will keep calling back until this is resolved but it is not due to my lack of effort to get someone in administration on the line. I would never recommend this practice I feel it is unethical and the interpersonal skills simply do not exist…
