Prompt and friendly service! The Best homemade cornbeef hash I've ever eaten and they grill their biscuits. Meal and tip was under twenty and I'm a great tipper! I'll be back and I'm bringing friends and family with me! Open every day 6am to 2pm for us early risers. Aloha Angie with Aloha Realty of Florida. Traveled in this morning from Ormond By the Sea to go to Farmers Market
I was driving through St. Augustine spending the day sight-seeing, and my girlfriend pointed out this diner, for some local flavor for lunch. I love diners. We both had the cheese steak, and it was super tasty! Also, St. Augustine has a local pepper called the "datil pepper", and these folks sell bottles of it. It's LOCAL to St. Augustine, so it makes a perfect souvenier! It's a tiny bit spicy, quite sweet and fruity. I'm not a big fan of spice, but I love it!
I had the pleasure of meeting some friends at Anastasia Diner recently. This was my first visit but they are frequent diners. Lovely artwork throughout the restaurant done by a local artists and the prints are amazing and available for sale. Besides the papal art the food was fantastic! I chose the chicken & biscuits with sausage gravy and only finished half. So delicious, this may be the best gravy I have had since growing up with my grandma in the restaurant business. I will definitely be back!
I stopped by this diner for breakfast before starting my day, and it turned out to be a great choice. The restaurant had that classic diner feel with a friendly atmosphere, comfortable booths, and a steady flow of regulars enjoying their morning meals. Even though it was fairly busy, we were seated quickly, and the service was prompt from the start. I ordered the Broken Egg & Chicken Biscuit, French toast, and a cup of coffee. The chicken biscuit was crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the soft, buttery biscuit and the rich egg, making it a hearty breakfast. The French toast was cooked just right with a lightly crisp exterior, a soft center, and just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee was hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed to go with the meal. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and checked on me throughout breakfast without being intrusive. The food arrived quickly, everything tasted fresh, and the portions were satisfying. Overall, it was an enjoyable breakfast with delicious comfort food, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm craving a classic diner breakfast.
I’m a person of color and sometimes that matters in reviews. The food was good. you get your money worth the staff was friendly. It was 5 of us ,my sister in law didn’t like the way her bacon was cooked and they happy made her another one without acting as if it was a problem. The waitress was attentive from start to finish. It was enjoyable and the breakfast was delicious.
