I don’t understand why I asked for sharp nails and this is both hands from the same set! Why do I need to point out problem and pay $100 to be made to feel uncomfortable. The tech told me several times too sharp… I should have asked for someone else but why do I need too?! I’m disputing this charge this is the THIRD time I’ve been there. The owner constantly asks to fix the problem after the fact. Just bc I’m a male doesn’t mean I don’t want or need QUALITY SERVICE
Nice staff but nothing is sanitized except for the plastic liner in the foot bath. My tech and the tech beside me were using clippers that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The nail file was so worn it was bending, the foot scrub pad was clearly a used worn pad. I went here because i read about their sanitization protocols, so for me, i would not go back. False advertising.
Never going back here again. The girl who did my nails OVER FILED and my nails were all crooked. I spent almost $200 for almost all my nails on one hand to break. I will not even give them an opportunity to fix it that’s how disappointed I am.
I’ve gone 4-5 times and had an ok experience, but overall felt very rushed. There are multiple people working here, so this review is only based on my experience with the 2-3 people I’ve seen. I don’t remember their names, I never requested a specific person. Maybe that’s part of the problem. The first set of nails I got I liked ok. But, I specifically asked the front desk girl if chrome was extra and she said no. Then I was charged $10 extra for them. She also got a visible brush hair in my nail and did nothing about it. It was stuck in there until I got a new fill. Second time I switched color and liked it ok. The third time the lady cut my nails so short and they looked really blocky and uneven. Even the actual tops of my nails weren’t even. I really didn’t like them and found that even in the first 3 times, they didn’t do a good job of painting the whole nail. You could always see past colors on the sides and a lot of times they were sloppy with the acrylic. Dents, bubbles, and brush hair like I mentioned before. Often, brand new nails would catch on my hair because they put the acrylic over the edge of my nail and parts were breaking off. I then got one more fill. I was sick and late coming in, but the fill was not the best quality and a nail literally popped off on its own. At that point, once I was better, I went in for a new set. This was the final straw: I had 9 nails on and the lady proceeded to RIP my nails off by sticking a new tip between the old acrylic and my nail to pry it off. She broke tons of my nails, I told her it hurt (it hurt bad and I felt it all day), and she kept doing it. She was in a rush, so rather than soak the acrylic off, she pried it off my nails and did major damage to them. They were nice and long and entire chunks were broken off them and the top of the nail itself was peeled off from that. She had my old nails off and new acrylics on in less than an hour— way too fast! Not to mention she charged me $5 for my nails being “long” and $10 for a removal I could have done myself but knew it wasn’t healthy and was super painful. Overall, not going back because quality wasn’t great, pricing was NOT clear (random ambiguous charges that weren’t mentioned up front for lengths, removals, shape of nail, having to do “too much extra shaping”, etc.), and because they ruined my nails trying to take a short cut when know better and didn’t listen when I told them I was in pain.
