Dr. Amit Chokshi is an excellent surgeon. At first meeting, you know he cares about his patients and listens to their expected outcome. Dr. Chokshi then discusses and recommends best options to achieve success. The patient decides their path, not forced but always given answers to any questions to help make their decision. The doctor is well-educated, well-tested with 1000’s of surgeries and high % of successful premium lens surgeries. I had no issues, and totally satisfied with his guidance and personalize treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Chokshi. His staff and nurses at the surgery center agree he is an excellent doctor working to make lives better with good sight!
Above and beyond from the staff all the way to Dr Chokshi. You’ll wonderful taking care of your patients. Keep it up! Highly recommended.
My experience has been top notch with Dr Chotski at Florida Eye Institute. I couldn’t have ask for a better surgeon or team to work with. My follow-up care has been superb and I have met some wonderful individuals. If I had to repeat the surgery, I’d make the same choices. I just wish I had made the decision to have the surgery sooner. I can see things now since my cataract & corneal transplants that I couldn’t see before. And, my vision is perfect!
Experienced and professional staff. Comfortable waiting areas. Patient first care. Dr Chotshi was attentive to my concerns and answered all questions in a thoughtful manner. I would recommend him to my friends.
Timeliness is important. My appointment was at 9:30 am. Checked in at 9:21 am. There were 4 other patients waiting. One had another 9:30 am appointment. They did not start calling in until 10:15 am. Long story short, I walked out of the office at 11:21 am. Two hours after I arrived. I paid and asked for my scripts, they gave me one without the PD. They said call us tomorrow for it. I requested it now since the refraction exam cost $75. I left in a hurry since work was waiting. Looking at the script at night, I am missing one script. The moral of this story is doctors be on time (professional courtesy), if you demand patient to be on time...lead by example. The front staff is not examply efficient in their check out except for the charging part. You have commitments, patients do too.
