If I could give it -10 stars I would. Don't go here for certification if you have any disability. I have hemiplegic cerebral play only affecting my right side. The man who instructed my last re-cert class at the Jacksonville Riverside location was very discriminatory. Nevermind that I passed the class 4 times over 8 years. This man pulled me aside BEFORE class and said that if I couldn't make the dummy light up correctly, he wouldn't pass me. So, nevermind that he was showing another participant how I was doing it correctly, he still refused to pass me because despite that I still wasn't good enough for him. ARC customer service handled it very poorly and I still don't know if he was reprimanded for that despicable behavior. Sadly, it wouldn't surprise me if he has done similar to others.
Couldn’t really tell you about the Red Cross building. I was just there to get a photo of the historical marker. Sorry.
GREAT place to get the best education on becoming a CNA. Awesome program, excellent instructors, and amazing hands on experience both in the classroom & in clinicals. Really prepped me for real life career situations. Thank you.

Today was the Easter Egg Hunt at Adventure Landing and I think that it was a complete disaster and a scam with Red Cross for money. The website clearly states 8am starts the registration and it didn’t start until 8:30. The hunt didn’t start until after 9 and it was only for 5 eggs?? My daughter picked up an extra one and one the guys reached in and took one out. There needs to be a clear communication on the experience so parents can decide whether to wake up at the crack of dawn or not! Then you have the option to spend $20 on playing but it doesn’t start until 11?(I know this is on Adventure Landing but I’m including it anyways) Who wants to sit around for 2 hours? The entire experience was awful to “raise money” and it should have been fun for the kids. By the time the kids were able to get eggs, they were so damn restless and ready to go. Do better! The eggs included bs! Dollar store toys, empty, and coupons for Adventure Landing! Despicable. I hope you achieved your goal which is your only focus.
