Local Jacksonville Veterans. Awesome dance hall and friendly members. Thanks for the hospitality to Post 37 Saint Augustine!
A time was had! Owners and staff are welcoming. The entire crowd and location is a vibe. Reminds me of Top-flight in Tallahassee.
I’m from out of town and usually my friends and I visits the197 American Legion Post because the DJ name DMac keeps you grooving and rocking all night; BUT, on October 31, 2025, there was another DJ there and HE was HORRIBLE! I was really embarrassed because I brought a lot of family and friends there for FL/GA weekend and I had been talking about how the DJ (DMac) rocks the house! To be very disappointed because he wasn’t there! So I guess we will find another place to enjoy when we are in town!!!!!!
I had an awesome time at the POST!!!!
The staff is friendly, and engaging. Chicken wings are great! Great place to go dance and listen to music. Safe environment, it is more like a community hangout. I always enjoy myself there.
