Amelia Island Museum of History

We are on a ghost tour per our AI and the museum is the first stop. Great place to see history and there are also some botanical gardens outside that are worth seeing also. Highly recommend visiting.

Loved this museum & learning the history of the island! What elevated the experience was the presentation by the docent, Thea. She is the Education Director at the museum & it is apparent how knowledgeable & passionate she is about the subject. Highly recommend! Lots to learn.

This is a great little museum! So much information tucked into a small space. I’d highly recommend the guided tour. Our guide was very knowledgable and able to an answer all of our questions. Certainly gave us a better understanding and appreciation of the history of the area. A nice garden along the south side of the building includes plants of historic use.
