Enjoyed their cinnamon roll warmed up by them. One of the best. Also a little chocolate cake while there. They sliced about a quarter of it off for me to eat there, it’s good and has been.. I went back again and got the same because I enjoyed it so much. The cakes are served cool so this time I remembered to have the chocolate overload cake warmed up by them because I like gooey. I would love the option to get serving of warm chocolate sauce or hot fudge or vanilla ice cream or whipped cream with it. On 2/6/2026, I enjoyed the cream puff and a slice of cookies and cream cake. I was impressed with both. I really enjoyed the cream and how much there was in the cream puff. I also was amazed how moist and flavorful and chocolate cake and cookies and whipped cream layers were in the cake. The cookies and cream icing on the outside is pretty sweet so best to combine with the other lighter layers. I do encourage people to allow the cake and cream puff to come to room temperature before eating. I find it more flavorful that way.
Stopped by today to get a piece of carrot cake. Didn't open it right off. Tonight when I went to eat said cake there was only a half of slice at best. No way the gentlemen who cut couldn't know he was ripping me off. Sorely disappointed. I would warn anyone getting cake to make them show you a full slice. I expected better. Will I ever go back is yet to be seen.
Always amazing! The chocolate chip s'mores cookie they have currently is phenomenal!!! We have really loved everything we've ever gotten from here. It's hard to pick what we want to try each visit!
I’ve been a loyal customer of this bakery since 2013. I recently got a Christmas box of cookies and a Gingerbread man cookie. The cookies are beautifully displayed in a showcase, and I couldn’t resist loading up on my favorites and some adorable holiday cookies. They’re all freshly baked daily, of course! The owner, Donna, opened the bakery in 2013 in South Mandarin (Bayard). Everything is baked with the finest natural ingredients, without any preservatives, and with a double spoonful of love 💕. I’ve been coming here for 12 years, and they’ve never disappointed me. Oh, and they also serve Brass Tacks coffee, which is a huge plus!
I visited this bakery for a Father's Day dessert and was very impressed. The bakery is located in a strip center so the parking was ample and the grounds were maintained well. The exterior sign is clearly visible from the main road which is helpful for those who not use or have GPS. Upon entering, I was cheerfully greeted by a staff member who was clean, well groomed and extremely polite. The interior is understated with a modern design that was both relaxing and welcoming. The bakery was very clean and well organized and had interior and exterior seating for their customers. I ordered a piece of chocolate cake and was offered an additional damaged piece at no charge which was a pleasant surprise. My dad absolutely loved the cake and mentioned how moist and flavorful it was without being too sweet. I would rate this place as being a very good value given the exceptional service, high quality and portion size in relation to the prices. This bakery is well managed, has a very good staff and uses top quality ingredients and represents what bakeries can be when those things are in place. I drove about 18 miles out of my way to visit this bakery and the next time I'm in Jacksonville, I'll drive 18 more. Many thanks to Amaretti Desserts for a great experience and highly recommend trying this bakery out.
