For the month of June they're having thirsty Thursdays $1 yinglings or yuengling flight. I don't understand why there's not a line out the door. The Pizza is so good. It has integrity with a crunchy bottom and ooey gooey cheese and they don't skimp on the toppings.
Stopped by to pick up a Pizza. My Sister loves this place. She placed her usual order. We ordered and waited for our pizza. It took about 20 minutes. The staff was friendly and courteous. Once home we tried the pizza, it was delicious. I also got some mozzarella sticks. They were delicious. The place was clean and it wasn’t crowded. I do recommend Al’s for pizza.
To be honest, the pizza is just okay—nothing special, but not bad either. The restaurant is a small, simple spot that works for a casual group dinner. If the service had been poor, this would easily be a 3-star review, but the staff was excellent. They were attentive, funny, and really interactive. We were there for my mom’s birthday, and they were joking with us the whole night. They even helped us get some balloons down from the ceiling and kept the energy high. It’s a great crew that actually has a personality, and they’re the main reason the night was a success.
We LOVE Al’s! We’re local and love to swing by for happy hour. $3 house wines and draft beers! The food is always good. We’ve tried the fried ravioli, flatbreads, calzones and pizza by the slice. It’s never crazy busy so you sit right away and the staff is lovely.
My daughter said “The pizza is so good that I want to eat the crust!” And that’s from a girl that doesn’t like crust. So we give the pizza 10/10. The salad however was disappointing. Had an Al’s Choice salad and I don’t know, something was off. I was offered a to-go box after only taking a few bites and telling them it did not taste well. I don’t mind not getting a replacement but would have been better service to be offered an option.
