I deleted my previous review as someone from the office reached out but here I am again. I cannot speak more highly for the doctors bed side manner and what not. But the disrepect I feel from the lack of follow through and follow up from the office is to much to handle anymore. I usually have 8am appts because I work at 10am, and he's almost always late and I wait in the room nearly until 9am. I liked him enough to get over that. But I had an issue getting my meds approved through my insurance after I had already been taking them for months and insurance changed. Not the doctor or offices fault but it took them nearly 6 months to follow up and only after numerous times of me emailing and then finally leaving a dirty review sparked them to actually contact me. I thought they were finally going to get on point, and here I am still without the meds and no further follow up. So I am dont and this review will stay. If anyone at the office sees and cares, dont call me again just learn from the mistakes and help future clients feel cared about.
You will never find a better doctor. I don’t know how he does it but he remembers everything, he cares, he doesn't rush you, he sits down and goes through and breaks down the steps of whatever your health issue is and explains it so you can truly understand what he knows as an excellent doctor with experience in everything someone could know and reinforces that you understand. Before all that happens lhe comes in with a smile on his face and laughing and happy. His laugh is contagious. He then has a conversation with you about anything other than medical stuff, gets to know you on a personal level. Then he dives in to what’s going on medically, explains several different opinions and sort of narrows it down with you step by step to what the issue is. Then he discusses what route to go to get you where you want to be, discussing options that will help like self help, lack of sleep, and healthier habits, and then will discuss medications if you want to go that route, he explains everything very thoroughly and gives you his medical opinion and lets you decide which route you want to go.he will break down the pros and cons. He has helped me immensely with numerous issues and he always has an open mind if you think a different treatment may work he will offer his medical opinion and works with you to make sure that you get the treatment best suited for you. He discusses options instead of forcing a medication on you. If it is an issue that not a danger to your well being he discusses options on alternative behaviors, or unhealthy habits that may be contributing to your issue. He printing out a list of physical therapy exercises for me at my last visit because he knows me and that I can’t get to a physical therapist because he knows I have a long commute everyday and I want to see my family. When you have blood work done he goes through every line and tells you what each test was and explains why a result would be high or low. He explains mitigation. Techniques but ultimately in the end you understand then why’s and how and just doesn’t force anything on you. He doesn’t judge you . You know when he is concerned about something because he tells you why and you can see it on his face which shows he has empathy and truly cares. and llllcharacter. , and then he gets serious and discusseschadaartlltòAs it with you without judging and telling you you have to do this and you can’t do that. He gives his medical opinion of the situation, shows you the facts and works with you . Just a good person all around and a great Doctor. It is worth the wait . Only issues is the front desk, they could care less , but he is
Dr Toledo is very knowledgeable and really listens. A great bedside manor. He's both my parents primary and they are 76 and 77. My mom has had a heart attack and mini strokes. My Dad has had 2 strokes. They get impatient and confused. And doctor Toledo is patient and will sit there and explain it in a way they will understand it. Yes it seems they overbooked and it's a pretty long way and that's aggravating but it's worth it for my mom and dad to have a piece of mind about what is going on as they are aging.
I cannot speak more highly of Dr Almond Toledo. He is young, kind, friendly and has a wealth of experience. He is super smart, knowledgeable, a lateral thinker, funny, with a fantastic bedside manner. He is attentive, connects with patients and he really listens. When you see him you never feel rushed and he surely cares. He is thorough and always follows up asap with any prescriptions or specialist referrals you may need. I was having chronic fatigue, severe pain, and a lot of other health issues for years. My previous PCP put me in the too-hard basket and did not help me at all. Dr. A. Toledo got my chronic pain issues sorted and has helped improve my moods, sleep, and my health. I feel so much better now since I have been seeing Dr Toledo. He is the best and an amazing doctor. The PAs and all office staff are helpful and friendly too. I have never had a long wait issue here, they are prompt. If there ever was a delay, I would happily wait 3 hours to see Dr Toledo.. he is that good!!! I have referred many people to him and I HIGHLY recommend this practice. Thank you so much Dr Toledo you are a truly amazing doctor!! Go see Dr Toledo and his staff, you will not be disappointed!!! Definitely 5 star plus !!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We’ve been seeing Dr. Toledo for about a year and a half since moving to Jax. Initially we were happy with the service, as he does give you plenty of time when at his office, although expect to be seen late. Since December him and the office have seemed really off their game. Not responding to messages in EPIC, not responding to calls to the office where I left messages for him. I saw him in December and specifically requested if he could check some of my labs, including my iron levels due to my medical history. When I had the lab work done, they didn’t do my iron levels and it was not even ordered. I left multiple messages to him in EPIC and called the office about this no less than 3 times. Spoke with Cheryl, and was told that he has a really full caseload, he had been out sick, and there’s no one to cover for him. I mentioned his PA and was told she has her own case load. Also, in the December appointment he sent my routine medications to the wrong pharmacy (mail order so I couldn’t even go to pick them up) and it also took at least three or four calls plus messages in epic to get that resolved…only was fixed when I asked to speak with the office manager. I switched to the other new provider in the office and I’m hoping to have a different experience, if not, we’ll definitely have to look for another provider.
