Allied Van Lines

Our experience with Allied van lines was a very good one, the communication between them and their customers like us was phenomenal, prompt, and thorough. They were punctual. The loading process was very smooth. Packaging was impeccable. All sensitive materials were packaged in a very secure manner, the men were polite and did a great job and did not bump anything when they got to the destination we were there to greet them. They Where very punctual on their delivery time they communicated ahead of time with their arrival and made the window of their expectation and ours. The unloading went about as good as anyone could hope as a customer with Allied Van lines previously they have held up a very high Standard ,we shopped around, but found Allied was a cut above the rest in our opinions. We couldn’t be any more satisfied with our services.

I used them to move from Jacksonville FL to Ocala FL. Including packing. Some family jewelry is nowhere to be found. Not saying they took it, but.... They packed everything and disassembled furniture. They damaged my dinning room table, office desk, chandelier, and dented the dryer. Everything was unloaded to a storage unit. They refused to allow me to examine anything and put everything in storage wrapped in their moving blankets. When everything was removed from storage a few months later the damage that they covered up was discovered. They paid to repair the dining room table because the driver lied and said it was delivered to the rental house and not the storage. Everything was delivered to storage and photos show the damage discovery in the storage unit. They refused to pay for the rest of the damage.

Very good at sales, less good at follow through. Our delivery was more than two weeks late and communication during the delay was poor to non-existent. When delivery finally occurred, the local mover was not the one initially promised, there was miscommunication on the arrival time, and the delivery was rushed and careless. We paid for packing and unpacking of kitchen and artwork, but no unpacking assistance was provided and packing materials not taken away. Bed was put together incorrectly and had to be redone. Some careless packing resulting in minor damage. All in all, an unsatisfactory experience and would not recommend.

We had an awesome experience with Coleman Worldwide Moving | Agent for Allied Van Lines out of Jacksonville! While the process didn’t happen overnight, everything came together smoothly and left us extremely pleased. Jeff Ryba gave us a clear, detailed estimate up front, and Kaleigh Traynor was fantastic—she coordinated the move dates and kept in touch every step of the way. Both crews, during pickup and delivery, were attentive, efficient, and really took care of the things that mattered most to us. Hopefully we won’t have to move again anytime soon—but if we do, we’d choose Allied again in a heartbeat!
