This park that is within walking distance of my apt is so special. I love that it has a paved walkway for smooth bike riding, rollerblading, strollers, etc. I'm pleased to see both kids and adults taking advantage of the giant soccer fields located in the back of the park. I feel perfectly safe walking around, it's always clean, lawn manicured, quiet, & landscaped beautifully. The gorgeous old tree in the back by the open field is the true show stopper. The loop around the park is fairly short, but very pretty. If I had to take a guess on the length, I'd say it's half a mile long or a little less. It's the perfect length for dog walking on these hot summer days.
Not a bad place to go for a quick walk. im a regular, however it was crowded this afternoon, due to they had a baseball. Best times are early morning or late evening.They have a JSO officer that lives onsite, so I feel pretty safe. There are 3 ponds onsite with signs for gators. I saw 2 baby ones, proceed if you go fishing. Overall, not a bad place.
Beautiful little park tucked back in San Marcos. Little cement biking trail weaves in an out Florida trees, palms, and flowering bushes and then opens up into a large open, grassy knoll. Great for a stroll or ride solo, a romantic picnic, or group party or birthday party. Highly recommend.
Great park to walk your dog, get some exercise, play a game or have a picnic!
About a half a mile off of San Jose Blvd tucked into a nice neighborhood is Alexandria Oaks Park. There is a short walking trail, a few benches, and soccer goal nets. Parking is on the street only. It's kind of lackluster, but good for dog walking or a casual walk.
