The office on Roosevelt is terrible. They are not helpful, they are all about money. I couldn’t get a refill on something that was non narcotic because I didn’t have blood work done but they never sent the requisition. The attitude of the office manager is horrible and she’s so hateful. She should not be allowed to work with people. She has no consideration that working people can’t always make an appointment, and her tone how she speaks to you is so unprofessional. I tried to make an appointment but was told I had to pay my bill, I paid my bill in full and still couldn’t get an appointment. The dr was great, but to have to deal with the office staff especially that office manger it’s not worth it.
Beware... I made an appt for my mother to see Dr. Lopez months ago. Today, when she arrived, the office claimed that her appt was not today, but rather Oct 30, but Dr. Lopez is not accepting new patients therefore she needs to reschedule with another provider. I called the appt line to ask what happened and she tells me Dr. Lopez is in fact accepting new Medicare patients, but now the Oct 30 appt has been lost and it will be several more months before another appt is available. I'm not sure who is right and who is wrong, but we just lost months waiting for this appt and now we are back to square one. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
Dr Lopez is an exceptional human and physician. He is so smart, calm, encouraging, straight forward, and a great listener. I was having a very emotional time and he spent the time with me so I left feeling hopeful and refocused. He helped me understand some of the medical issues I was experiencing and we set a plan. As I am approaching 70 I appreciate him so much and all of his office mates.
Went to see Dr Lopez with my husband. We were both impressed by Dr Lopez and that he actually listened to our concerns. He made us feel like we actually mattered. Great nursing staff also.
My husband and I both go to Dr. Lopez for our healthcare. If our health issue is not in his realm of practice, he always refers us to the best specialists he knows. He is kind and caring and treats us like a family member. His assistant is very efficient and extremely personable. We can truly say we picked the right doc! Thanks Dr. Lopez.
