The Akumin Center I visited is located on Dunn Avenue formerly the old "Pic N Save. The facility is very clean. Even though there was a bit of a line for registration, the process moved quickly. The Staff was very organized and very professional. Before I could sit down after signing paperwork I was called for my procedure. The technician was very friendly, procedure performed and I was "in & out" in less than 20 minutes. Thank you for a job well done
Akumin was able to see me the same day. It was a quick process. I do think communication between departments could be better. Initially I was informed that ultrasound results would be same-day but at my appointment learned that it is not the case. Also, when I was scheduling the appointment, the scheduler told me that a diagnostic mammogram and baseline mammogram are not possible to do together. That’s fine, but I was not informed that I am not eligible for a mammogram until I arrived. Thankfully the ultrasound was still able to be done as we live an hour away.
The staff was friendly. They made you feel comfortable. The imaging specialist was full of energy in a great way. It's very clean . The time wait was great! No hassle, no attitudes from anyone bueatiful people that loves their job.
The ladies at the front desk, as well as the MRI technician, were incredibly helpful, kind, and caring from the moment I walked in. They made me feel welcome, answered all of my questions with patience, and went above and beyond to make my experience a positive one. There was an issue with my Workers' Compensation appointment because it had actually been scheduled for a different facility in Arlington, even though I was given the address for the Dunn Avenue location. Despite the mix-up, the staff did everything they could to accommodate me and made sure I was able to be seen and have my MRI completed without having to reschedule. Excellent customer service like theirs truly makes a difference. Thank you all for your professionalism, compassion, and willingness to go the extra mile. It is greatly appreciated!
I was most surprised at this Location of Akumin Radiology. The last time that I used Akumin was about 2015. This time the Checkin process was fasted and better organized. The suite of Procedure Rooms are well diversed. The cleanliness in the Waiting Room and suites was most impressive. It was comforting to experience the hospitable manner of All the Personnel. They were quite timely; even when I asked to walk with the Disks. I didn't finish the Intake Paperwork! That was a Good Thing!Ackumin!👍👍👍👍👍
