We absolutely love it. The room was beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. There was a huge jacuzzi tub in our room and we had our own personal balcony. The service was amazing and the location was right by everything in the historic area. Will be telling friends and family about the place for sure. Would highly recommend.
The location of this Bed and Breakfast is more than ideal for a visit to St Augustine. It allows for easy walking distance to all attractions and music in the area shuts down by 10 PM. That is the end of the positives. Company website states they have an after hours number, front desk states they have an after hours number, and we were provided a number upon check-in. My spouse and I attempted to contact this number 6 times the night of arrival with no answer and no follow-up the next morning. We had 2 hot water tanks behind our window beeping ALL NIGHT long. The remote for fan/light didn't work. The bathroom was dirty on every flat service as seen in pictures. The toilet seat was so loose that my wife slipped off the toilet when trying to get up. We also didn't have a smoke detector in the room...which is a major code violation. We reported these issues to the front desk and they seemed less than interested in fixing them and stated they didn't have an after hours number even though it's listed on her desk. We had to discuss the issue with another member of the staff to get things repaired. Be careful when renting at this location because there are no lights at the stairs making tripping very real and very dangerous. Furthermore, website states they have daily baked goods...this means chocolate chip cookies in the evening. Nothing more!
5 stars all around. Easy check in process. Great staff. Clean rooms. The location could not be better. Right in the heart of St George street. I would definitely come back again.
Barbara is the kindest. This is all about location location. She has made downtown accessible with a no frills inn. This IS NOT a bed and breakfast but a comfortable place to stay within a great location. We would return.
The only reason I would recommend staying here is the location. The inn itself is rundown and literally falling apart. The towels were old and worn, the baseboards in the bathroom we were moldy and rotten. If we had not been with a group of friends I would have cancelled the reservation and found another place. The check in was cold and checkout was downright rude leaving me a vm on my phone a full hour before actual checkout time saying we needed to call them to tell them we were leaving. There are no amenities other than water in the lobby area. No furniture to sit on other than some table and chairs. The outside furniture is worn, mismatched and dirty. Overall just not worth the money. Do not stay here.
