We had an amazing 4th of July week stay at After Hours Retreat. The house is spacious and accommodated our whole family (7 adults and 2 dogs)! We loved the proximity to the beach and the ability to drive on to the beach with a 4x4 vehicle! Grandma and pregnant daughter appreciated that! There are a lot of stairs in this home, you will get your fitness rings maxed out in that aspect! The pool was really the cherry on top. After a day at the beach, there is nothing better than sitting in the pool for a bit before getting ready for the evening. We really appreciated the hosts accommodating our family and including our fur kids! We had overflow condo (for two extra guests) in the condo across the way, that was super convenient. The kitchen/living room was spacious enough for everyone to gather there. The host was very responsive and very professional. I would def recommend this home to any family looking for a perfect stay close to the beach!
If you are looking for the perfect family getaway, look no further. Our stay with The Wild Host (After Hours Retreat location) was magical. The house was spacious enough for our whole group to spread out, but cozy enough for us to spend quality time together. The kids were obsessed with the game room, and the adults loved unwinding in the beautiful outdoor spaces. It is rare to find a rental that is actually 'fully stocked' as promised, but this place delivered. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you, Lauren and Eric, for being such amazing hosts!
We loved our 5nt stay at After Hours! The location is awesome (3rd house from A1A with public beach access right there). Only 15-20min from historic St. Aug & all that it has to offer. Lauren was easy to communicate with from booking to pre-arrival to departure. The house was fully equipped for entertaining 3 generations (plus a 4th on the way). Huge bonus having a fenced-in yard & being dog friendly!!!
We had a great experience staying at the After Hours retreat. We really enjoyed all the amenities, the host was very responsive, and when my son left a bag of his belongings(including his Nintendo switch) they shipped it to me a few days later! We would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!
We loved our stay at After Hours! The house is beautiful and has all of the comforts of home and everything you need for a fantastic beach vacation! The pool and hot tub are wonderful. The game room is a real plus with lots of activities for the whole family! The beach was absolutely beautiful and not too crowded. We loved that you can take your dogs on the beach. St. Augustine is a very pet friendly area! Although the beach is a short walk, being able to drive on the beach made it so convenient to haul all of your beach gear. We can’t wait to go back! St. Augustine is truly a magical place!
