This has been my church for the past 25 years. Is it made up of perfect people? No, it is made up of sinners. Those looking for God's Love, Grace and Forgiveness. We know that we are Saved by Grace Through Faith. If someone wants to experience God's Grace they need to attend a worship service and meet the people. My Lutheran Church (Faith Lutheran) closed a few years ago and my wife and I were looking for a warm and friendly congregation to join. After checking out a couple of churches we found Advent Lutheran Church of Orange Park. We were welcomed at the Narthex by the ushers and later after the service during coffee by all the members of the congregation present. We joined the church after a few months and have been here since. It is a wonderful church with caring and giving people.

I can't believe this lady driving a white Acura SUV pulled up on me and just started asking questions about why I was walking my dog. The church shares a yard with the apartments and claimed they have pop everywhere. As I'm holding a bag to pick up behind my dog. Very unwelcoming and cold. I took my dog home and tried to go to the office to tell someone how offended I was. I'm in their community and actually thought about attending the church. I wouldnt go now if their paid me and that "God's people." Like get it together. I was on the side walk barely by the church.
