I have been boating for over 50 years. I have also owned a few boats. With that said, I can honestly say that John at Advanced Boat Trailers will provide you with the best trailer for the best price. He is very professional. Some of the guys in my fishing club take their very expensive trailers to Advanced Boat Trailers when they need work done. That says a lot. They also have great quality batteries and accessories. One thing I know for sure, is that all of the products that he carries are of high quality, not junk, nor products made by wishy-washy companies. The next time you need a new trailer or parts, go to Advanced Boat Trailers. You won't be disappointed.
Worst experience I’ve had buying a trailer. Trailer was not adjusted properly for my boat causing gel goat damage. Both fenders fell off on the highway within 100 miles of leaving their shop. I would not recommend
Awful experience of lies and incompetence. Quoted a price for replacing an axle. It's a venture brand trailer and their brand specific parts are hard to come by. I was quoted a price over the phone (after they verified the trailer brand) and dropped off the equipment with several conversations about the specs. They called a week later claiming they don't work on venture trailers and couldn't do the job b/c they "thought they had something that might work and it won't" which had never been mentioned before. 20 min. later I had several local shops happy to do the work, and a few mentioned regularly receiving customers who had been screwed by these fools in a similar fashion. Stay away unless you want a headache!
Our family bought a used aluminum trailer and the staff was nothing but helpful and resourceful during the buying experience. Reasonable pricing, friendly and knowledgeable staff, all around great experience working with them. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to buy a used or new boat trailer in the area!
In the past I have always had great service from Advanced, parts always available, etc. So I decided to take my boat trailer up there to have some service work done on it. So when I went into the shop, I first told the lady at the desk I need to have all of the wheel bearings re-packed and have it checked over. So she wrote down what I asked her to do and get back with me later. So they called back a few days later and told me it needs about 1,800 dollars worth of repairs done. So that was three tires, one caliper, 4 sets of break pads and labor. So I asked them did they re-pack the bearings that I asked them to do... NO! They did not! I thought that was included in their service! Then the owner went on and told me it "wasn't needed" and didn't "hear any bad bearings"... However I can leave it up there and they can re-pack the wheel bearings for an additional 600 dollars! Really? Charged 1,800 dollars for 500 dollars in parts and the rest in labor and didn't re-pack the wheel bearings as requested.
