This bridge is AWESOME! The view of the sunset was absolutely stunning! There's an old historic train draw bridge on the West side which is really cool if you're into mechanical engineering history. On the East side of the bridge is the CSX headquarters building with a really cool sign on top that looks like one of their locomotives. Running down the center of the 4 lanes is a little public transit monorail that goes through Jacksonville. I DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR GREAT VIEWS AND SOME EXERCISE.
🌉 Apparently we can leave a review for a bridge Well, it’s a bridge. 🙂 🏙 You can enjoy a nice view of the city. 🚶♂️It doesn’t take a long time walk it. So, if you need to get to the other bank, don’t hesitate to walk across this bridge.
Great Place to watch the fireworks here in Jacksonville!!!
Acosta Bridge is host to the best fireworks shows in Florida! The night lights on the bridge are super nice! Next to Friendship Fountain and the Riverwalk, it is a great place to visit!
The Main Street bridge is closed for repairs, so we have started using the Acosta Bridge. No problems, easy on and off. Traffic a bit heavy around 5 in the afternoon, but keeps moving.
