Abstrakt Filipino Essence

I can't recommend Abstrakt enough! Matthew provided exceptional service—attentive, welcoming, and truly top-notch from start to finish. Chef Jojo is a culinary genius, and you can genuinely taste the passion and care he pours into every dish. An unforgettable dining experience!

If you’re looking for authentic Filipino food in Jacksonville Beach, Abstrakt Filipino Essence is a must-try! Everything tastes homemade and made with family recipes, and you can really taste the flavor in each dish. I tried the ube ice cream, ube cheesecake, and ube cake and honestly, this is some of the best ube in Jacksonville! The ube desserts were incredible! We also got the lumpia, shrimp palabok, and chicken tocino bowl. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and the portion sizes were HUGE! 🤤 And Chef Jojo is the best! You can tell how passionate he is about sharing Filipino food and family recipes with the Jacksonville community. If you love Filipino cuisine or are looking to try something new, definitely check out Abstrakt Filipino Essence in Jax Beach. 🇵🇭🔥

An Exceptional Filipino Dining Experience at Abstrakt Filipino Essence! Abstrakt Filipino Essence truly exceeded our expectations! From the outstanding food to the exceptional service, every aspect of our dining experience was impressive and memorable. What makes this restaurant particularly special is how beautifully it celebrates Filipino culture, history, and identity. The Filipino symbolism, artwork, and cultural details throughout the restaurant create a meaningful atmosphere that goes beyond simply enjoying a meal. Learning about the restaurant’s humble beginnings as a food truck makes its journey even more inspiring. You can genuinely appreciate the passion, creativity, and pride behind the establishment. As someone who works in hospitality and restaurant management, I pay close attention to service standards, professionalism, and the overall guest experience. I was particularly impressed by our servers, Elyon and Mar. Elyon initially assisted us before the end of the shift, and Mar seamlessly took over afterward. Both demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attentiveness, and excellent communication. Their choice of words, courteous approach, and genuine hospitality stood out to me. These are the kinds of service qualities that distinguish an outstanding dining experience from an ordinary one, and both deserve recognition for representing the restaurant so well. We have been in Jacksonville for about a month and have already tried several Filipino restaurants. So far, Abstrakt Filipino Essence is hands down the best we have experienced in terms of both food and service. The pancit is definitely my personal favorite, although all the other dishes we tried were equally enjoyable and did not disappoint. It is refreshing to discover a restaurant that combines delicious Filipino cuisine, cultural pride, a compelling story, and hospitality that genuinely makes guests feel welcome. The team should be proud of what they have created. We will definitely be coming back!

We just happened to spot this on the way to the beach. Good thing because the food did not disappoint. What an incredible experience from the atmosphere to the service that our server Amiel provided. Everything was amazing and this will definitely be a place we come to again. Thank you again for a wonderful dinner.
