This is by far the best eye doctor I have been to in Jacksonville. The staff is kind & attentive. The doctors are thorough and intentional with their conversations with you. They acknowledge your concerns and do not brush them off. Instead, they make you feel comfortable by educating on any conditions you might be experiencing. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience here! I appreciated how friendly the staff was and helpful. Horacia at the front was extremely helpful, kind and professional. She went over and beyond to not only where she helped see if they could fit me in to be seen by a doctor, after I accidentally came to the wrong appointment time, she also took the time to talk me through billing, explain the services. She was cheerful, thoughtful and provided useful information while guiding me through the processes of getting set up with the office and checking out. While she alone, would be more than enough of a reason I'd come back to this office - the doctors other healthcare staff were great as well. It was quick and efficient!

I WILL NOT go back. I left after being told the standard of care is patients paying out of pocket for the Optomap and dilation not replacing it. Working in ophthalmology for 21 years, in clinic, dilation will always be the standard of care and should always be offered as an option. They lost 9 years of business from someone who has both medical and vision experience

A1A Eyecare’s staff has always been professional polite and efficient with great attitudes. I’ve been going to the practice long enough to see a new set of doctors join the team, as all the others retired, but I have not been disappointed with the new group. Dr. Taylor is always enjoyable and very knowledgeable with any of my questions. I enjoy coming to A1A for my annual eye exams.
