If you are looking for incredible, fresh seafood without the tourist-trap prices of downtown St. Augustine, A1A Crab House is the place to go! Ambiance: Just a heads up—this is a takeout-only spot, not a sit-down restaurant! It has a very casual, clean, local seafood market vibe where you order at the counter and take your food to go. Food: The food is absolutely phenomenal. I got the Snow Crab and Shrimp combo tray, and everything was perfectly steamed and loaded with flavor. Their signature cajun garlic butter sauce is a must-try. The portions are very generous and come with all the classic sides like corn, potatoes, and sausage. Service: The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They processed my order quickly, and everything was packed up beautifully so it was still steaming hot when I got back. Highly recommend stopping by to grab a local seafood feast to go!
Absolutely AMAZING Blue Crab Trays! The seasoning was so delicious, I couldn’t even wait to get home, I ate the whole tray sitting in my car outside! So fresh and flavorful. I already can’t wait to come back for the big tray! 10/10!
Found this place by accident just looking for seafood. Will go back every time we're in St Augustine! Literally the best seafood ever!! Not too salty, seasoning was perfect, Cajun garlic butter was perfect! We got a snow crab tray, a half snow crab half shrimp tray and a full tray of crawfish with 2 boiled eggs. Great price, better flavors! The owner is also the friendliest! Hope to see you again soon! Thanks again!!! 🖤
I love this freakin place and have since day 1 when it was just Pops in the kitchen‼️ They have definitely became Well known spot in St. Augustine tht stamped their name in the Westside’s History. The food is delish🤤🤤, the spot is always clean, awesome customer service, and the fact tht they r generous makes it over 5 ⭐️💯. We’ve been coming here for years and we love the food. It’s become our favorite place to get seafood. The sauce is amazing and the owner is one of the best around!
