Went early Saturday afternoon with the family. Just a strip mall restaurant from the outside. Inside was quite nice. Asian Fusion so they had a little of everything. Wife and I got drunken noodles. Very good. One son got Otoboku which he enjoyed. The other son got the lamb. (Not my thing but he liked it). The others split appetizers and sushi. All done well and tasty. Service was outstanding.
My husband and I were celebrating our two years and we happened to stay nearby this area this week. Never judge a book by its cover! Our server was attentive and he was a sweet gentleman. My husband said the food was so good it made him reconsider what good food is. We had the fried duck and pho! So amazing. We think this place deserves more hype!!!
We enjoyed listening to live music while eating delicious dinners. The four of us enjoyed our entrees of salmon, duck and pad Thai with tofu and Tom Yum soup. Diana was a delightful server with knowledge about the menu. We will be back soon!
I was a bit skeptical, but this place was actually very good. Our favorite place we’ve eaten in st Augustine and we’ve been to all the big names. We love sushi and theirs was great. We got the St. Augustine roll and the A1A roll and they both were massive and had tons of delicious fish. They’re the size of fried roles full of fish. Both very very good. The coconut mojito was very tasty also, but it did have a lot of ice in the cup. They also had live music tonight and the guy performing was actually pretty good. We enjoyed it. Our only complaint would be that it took a bit for the server to approach us when we were seated and to get our drink, but they warned us they were understaffed tonight when we ordered and that it could take a minute. It really didn’t take that long to get our sushi though. The sushi was awesome.
The food was out of this world. Speaking as someone with a culinary degree, I cannot recommend T Smith enough. We got the Lobster Kao Soi Ramen which was a creamy buttery Thai coconut curry broth with ramen noodles, thinly sliced red onions, scallions, cilantro, and tempura lobster tail. This dish was a masterpiece of flavor and so comforting. Along with this we ordered the Kobi Tuna appetizer which was the perfect compliment of rare tuna with tempura crunch, spicy mayo, wasabi cream, and masago. While they did not have their liquor license at the time we went, they were incredibly accommodating by allowing diners to bring their own bottles of wine to drink with their meal. Evan our server was very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. Tham the owner also came by our table to check if we needed anything and spoke with us about himself and his plans for the future of the restaurant including music and late night activities. I can’t wait to go back, bring friends, and see how this place grows. I cannot recommend enough.
