I had my roof redone by Sam Vincent dba A Specialty Home Design and Rennovations. While his price was reasonable the workmanship was not. I have been plagued with a roof leak since Sam touched my roof. I never had a leak before I allowed him to replace my aged shingles. Since then I have had to fight to get any response from Sam. The first time I called him after reaching out about it he sent Keith out who had caulk applied to my shingles in the area they suspected the leak. I was assured they had used peel and stick underlayment and there was no way I should have any further issues. I have since been in contact with multiple roofing contractors to try and find the leak since Sam hasn't been there to resolve the problem he has created. Each contractor has stated the same things. The underlayment used is not peel and stick. The underlayment is a single layer and not applied to code , the nails used aren't the proper nails. The ridge vent used is against manufacturer specifications which explicitly state not to use it on my roof. Sam has ignored my text messages requesting he correct this job. When he finally did respond he stated his guy Keith would be at my home at 9am on Sunday. Since then, zero response, my messages have been ignored with me simply asking for the common professional courtesy of letting me know if something came up, he was running behind, anything to show some kind of respect for their customers. Please, take this as a warning, Do Not Hire Sam Vincent for Anything at all. He has left my home with a chronic leak that pours into my home by my son's bed and also dangerously close to an electric outlet. He has caused a safety issue for me that is beyond negligent and ignores the situation with little care to potentially dangerous side effects of this leak Do not rely on the fact that he is licensed or that work truly gets inspected.
Professional and trustworthy general contractor. The team was organized and communicated clearly during every stage of the project. They completed the work on time and delivered impressive craftsmanship. We are extremely satisfied with the results.
Keith and Samuel are very reliable. They move quick, are affordable and deliver amazing finishes. I used them in gainseville for numerous projects! Communication meets results in efficient timelines.
We've had several jobs done by A Specialty Home Design and have been very pleased with the work. They are reliable, hard working and easy to get along with. The owner went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. I highly recommend their services.
Showed up quickly and did a nice professional job. Came back the next day and fixed a minor problem. Other roofers wouldn’t come out for a few weeks.
