A A Auto Repair of Springfield

When I tell you this place is a blessing!!! My tires are "Nail Magnets" so of course I came out of work and found a screw in my tire! It was after 5pm on a Saturday but a couple of people suggested I go to AA Auto. So I show up unannounced, less than an hour before they close. I was greeted with a smiling face and a friendly "Hello". A very kind man stopped what he was doing and I'm less than 5 minutes plugged my tire and checked the pressure in my other tires. I felt bad for coming in so late but they never, not once made he feel like I was an inconvenience! Great customer service is hard to come by these days... So keep up the good work and thank you again!

This place ripped me off once and tried to rip me off a second time. We live close so we started taking our vehicles there. I needed multiple repairs so I took my car in. They told me they needed specific parts but I had to pay in advance. So I paid a little over $2000. Then, they disappeared. I kept calling asking what was going on with the parts until they stopped answering my calls. Then I would have my wife call from her phone immediately after I called and they answered right away. Once they realized what we were doing, they stopped answering her phone calls as well. We would go in and they would be very apologetic and tell us the parts would be in very soon. Guess what, the parts never showed up. It was one excuse after the next. We eventually got so sick of fighting them on it that we gave up. Fast forward about a year and a half, and we decided to go back and try again. They were super apologetic telling us how bad they felt. So I took my car in for a different issue. They told me I needed new bushings and a $600 part for my gas intake system. After a few weeks of waiting on the part to show up again, I decided to take my car someplace else. When I got to the other place, they told me that my bushings have been replaced within the last year (memory like and elephant over here) and were totally fine. There was a screw loose, causing the sounds that cause me to bring the van in in the first place. They wanted to charge me $1500 for a loose screw! Once again, this place tried to rip me off. I’m a big fan of supporting local businesses and was really happy to have a mechanic so close to my house. I actually heard from multiple people that they were good and honest. Evidently the son took over for the father and business doesn’t seem to be the same. It’s a real bummer but no one will convince me that these guys aren’t crooks. One silver lining, whatever they did to the “broke” $600 gas intake part actually fixed it lol I guess I won at least that one. Don’t trust this place.

Honest, affordable, and competent! Junior and his team came to the rescue when our car's transmission broke down while traveling through Florida. This was a major job involving both the transmission and the clutch. Junior was able to tow our car to his garage and fix it at a very reasonable price! - Highly recommend AA Auto Repair of Springfield! Thank you!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I brought my car in with a leak in the tire, they assessed and patched it on the spot at no cost because I live in the neighborhood. I am super appreciative and will return and recommend them.
