First time in ...it was on my way home from a trip and I was not in the mood to cook .... And it smelled delicious the minute I walked in. Bathroom was clean and cute . Spent 100 bucks including a tip on a family meal for 5 and dessert as well. The meat is authentic and delicious all by it self. Their signature sauces were finger licking good. We all loved the food . Ages 12 to 61 :) The service by the young lady was excellent.. she was so helpful and informative. Made it a quick painless ordeal for me. We will be back .
Service was nice and punctual, I ordered the choose 2 and got the brisket and pulled pork, with a side of green beans and Mac and cheese. The brisket was so dry and lacked flavor. The pulled pork was way more moist than the brisket but also lacked flavor. I had to douse both the meats in sauce to save the dish. The green beans were good and kind of remind me of the canned Margret Holmes green beans. The Mac and cheese was decent. It has some what of a Smokey flavor to it wasn’t bad at all. I also ordered the fried mushrooms as an appetizer, they were pretty good. I hate to say it but the best thing here was the sauces. The mustard was my favorite, followed by the sweet sauce.
Our visit did not disappoint. We both chose 2 different meats with sides so that we could sample the others. Good portion and filling. Baked beans were amazing and tater tots great.
I just ate one of the most delicious BBQ meals I have had in quite awhile. The Mac and cheese (which is always my go to) was very flavorful and was some of the best Mac and cheese I've had in a long time. There was no fat to be seen in my pulled pork sandwich, which I chose their sweet sauce to enhance my sandwich. Their sweet sauce was AMAZING. I also enjoyed them having Diet Dr. Pepper, that was a huge plus with most places only having one option for those of us who have to drink diet. Overall it was a great experience and everyone working was friendly and attentive. I would absolutely go again and plan on recommending to whoever will listen.
My family and I visited at about 7PM— so one hour before they closed— it was amazing! The service was fantastic, everyone was kind and hospitable. The food came out very quick and it was perfect. Pictured is the chopped brisket platter with green beans and a side salad. There was a lot of meat and the brisket was juicy. The green beans were very flavorful! My family ordered the chicken and sliced pork— all of the meat was juicy and flavorful. I highly recommend if you enjoy authentic barbecue!
