I purchased the six-book fantasy mystery box for $25, excited by the possibility of discovering new stories, unfamiliar worlds, and authors I might not otherwise have chosen for myself. Unfortunately, five of the six books were the second installment in their respective series, and the remaining book was the third installment. I understand that a mystery box means giving up the ability to choose the books yourself, and I wasn't expecting to love every title. However, I was hoping for the opportunity to open a book and immerse myself in a new story. Receiving only books that requires purchasing earlier installments made that difficult. I wish the box had disclosed that it could contain mostly sequels, as I would have approached the purchase with different expectations. I don't want to spoil the surprise by listing the titles, but I wanted to share my experience for anyone considering purchasing one with the hope of discovering new fantasy stories.
Checked out this store today and it’s really cool inside. Unfortunately, I didn’t leave with anything because it’s way overpriced. $99 for a Chaos Ring ETB is absolutely crazy. That’s 2x MSRP!!!
The way they count the cards needs to be changed.
Went today to the soft opening. The store had so much cool stuff. Ill be back forsure!
