17 King absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the minute we walked in, the food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all incredible. Some of the best food and cocktails we’ve had in a long time, and we were seriously impressed with everything we tried. Sandra, our waitress, was fantastic and made the entire experience even better. Jeremy behind the bar was killing it with the drinks, and Kaiser brought the vibe and made the night so much fun. You can have great food anywhere, but when you combine phenomenal food with amazing drinks and a staff that makes you feel genuinely welcome, that’s what makes a place stand out. 17 King is definitely one of our new favorites in St. Augustine. We’re already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!
We visited Bistro for dinner while spending the day in St. Augustine with my son and my niece, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and the Salmon, Rebeye and sweet potato was amazing. Everything we ordered was excellent! A special thank you to Z for the outstanding service. Z was friendly, enthusiastic, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back.
The food was truly outstanding. Everything we had was excellent from start to finish. The drinks were also great, and the Old Fashioned was made very well. I really enjoyed it. For the appetizer, I highly recommend the meatballs. They were superb. For the main course, I had the fried chicken, which was excellent, and the 17 King salad with shrimp added, which was absolutely amazing. Overall, the drinks, food, and appetizers were all top notch. The service was also very good, and the host service was excellent as well. If you want, I can make it sound more upscale, more casual, or shorter for a Google review.
What an extraordinary experience. Kai was our server and she was so lovely. The meal was extraordinary. We had the Chicken and the Filet and both entrees were perfect. My mom said it was the best chicken she has ever had at a restaurant. This coming from a woman who is famous for sending things back. WOW! At the end of the evening, the manager, Kaiser came over to ask about our dinner. He was awesome and it turns out he grew up in Camden Maine where I live. We chatted for some time about mutual acquaintances and stuff. He then brought us crème brûlée and banana cheesecake for dessert. Both exceptional. If you are in St. Augustine, GO! You will not be disappointed.
I was in St Augustine this pass week and we dined at 17 King and it was top notch. We started our meal with a delicious appetizers Pesto Burrata with Grilled Bread. It was divine. We also had the Arugula Fig & Prosciutto Salad - arugula, dried fig, crispy prosciutto, goat cheese, fib balsamic which was a favorite of mine. I will definitely come back for that with an added piece of protein. I had the Pan Seared Crispy ½ Chicken pommes puree, brussel sprouts, lemon caper beurre blanc. The potatoes were delectable. I loved my chicken. More than I could finish but so moist and flavorful. My companions split two dishes Forest Ember Filet parsnip puree, grilled asparagus, wild mushrooms, red wine and the Chili Oil Shrimp red argentine shrimp, chili oil, fresh corn polenta, sausage fennel gravy. herb oil, micro greens. Everyone love their food so much no one was willing to share a bite!!!! It was a wonderful food experience and compliments to their master chef Landy Wyatt. Make sure if you’re in St Augustine to go for dinner at 17 King it was so delightful.
