#1 R & R Electrical Allstar

R&R Allstar electric was contracted to my home through American Home Shield. Previously they had sent Fixit Inc to my home and it was a horrible experience. I needed some switches fixed in a few bathrooms that operate the ceiling fans. The tech showed up at 8pm with zero identification, not even a shirt with company name or logo. The Fixit tech lied and told American Home Shield that my fans had seized up and needed replaced. The tech who said that never even checked the fans or the switches. He just checked that their was power. So I requested a second opinion and R&R Allstar was sent out. Upon arrival the Tech Matthew with his assistant Victor were very professional as I explained the issue and walked them to the areas that needed repair. They presented and identified themselves properly with company logo on shirt. Matthew saw that the outlet switch was old from normal wear and just needed to be swapped out. So he did it with no issue at all in about 5 mins. Then he went upstairs and fixed the other two switches that needed repair. He found that the upstairs hallway bathroom fan needed to be cleaned but he fixed it in about 10mins. They also checked our outlets and made sure electric was flowing correctly throughout the house. Great service! I would recommened Matthew and Victor to anyone. These guys turned a nightmare experience into an easy fix just like it should have been from the start.

Have American home shield and after scheduling with us two times they called and canceled both times. Siting the second time that they don’t service Gainesville, FL. Not sure who is at fault more American Home Shield or #1 R&R but both seem to be at fault here because they accepted the “scheduled the job” they couldn’t service and American home shield sent them something outside their service area. Yay for home warranties.

I am an American Home Shield customer and was assigned #1 R&R Electrical Allstar for a problem with having no electricity in part of my home. I must say I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but, I am VERY happy to say, that the experience was excellent!! The girl that made the appointment for me was very pleasant and I was called when the technicians were on the way. The technicians, Matthew and John, were equally pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. They arrived in a timely manner. They quickly determined the problem and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. All in all it was an excellent experience and I am thankful the problem is repaired.

Been waiting since 2/26/2026. The technician originally reported the issue as my coffee pot being bad sent in the work order to my warranty company for turn closed out the service call. Made a repeat call they sent out the same technician who determined I need two new circuit breakers. I’m still waiting for them.
