1 of A Kind Lumber Co

These two are a blast to work with. I had a unique situation that needed an open mind when it comes to business and they delivered. There was direct contact, back and forth discussions to really nail down designs, truly professional with top notch suggestions and opinions. I just got my pieces back yesterday and they are perfect. Absolutely would suggest going with 1 of a Kind. It's been a couple of days since we received our pieces and I'm going back to them to buy another one. Absolutely top notch.

Isabel with 1ofAKindLiveEdgeSlabs is a fantastic person to work with!! Her and her hubby created a cutting board for us (a surprise birthday gift for my hubby) that is to die for! This is the board he has been wanting and searching for for many years now! This business and the people who run it made it happen! It’s a gorgeous, thick, one piece of walnut with juice grooves and indented handles with a personal touch of engraving. We LOVE our cutting bored and it is an eye catcher in our kitchen! We will absolutely be calling these guys for more business down the road!

Our experience with Isabel was very disappointing. After paying for the table, she became extremely unresponsive and had a lack of communication on updates. Our table and bench arrived 3 months after we were told and I was the one following up without any updates from her end. I understand Covid delays but it went on for so long and could not get an honest answer. We paid more for chrome legs and they ended up more silver, not matching the rest of our chrome furniture. Picture shows the silver table legs next to our true chrome couch legs. Also, the legs have scratches all over. We had a couple people fall off the bench since the legs are not wide enough for the slab of wood and it’s wobbly. Isabel continued with empty promises of making this right but here we are few more months after it arrived and no follow through. The table itself is beautiful, although we wanted it lighter, and the live edge looks great. Wish we knew going into this process what a pain it would be and still not end up with what we ordered because we would have gone elsewhere.

I absolutely love my live edge dining table! Dave and Isabel are so nice to work with and they really listened to what I wanted and searched until they found it! My table is beautiful!! The craftsmanship and attention to detail is phenomenal! Dave is a true artist! Thank you sooo much!!!
